I would like some help with power for a DIY audio amp power supply.
I don't have the required amp draw of this amp, but I would assume about 5 - 10 amp would be plenty.
It's 4 transistor, 18w x 2w +36w sub
It does require dual 12v supply, center Grd. I am getting a torodial 24v center tapped 12v tranformer rated 12amp two x 6 amps.
Should I put a couple caps low voltage side of tranformer. The amp has 2- 6800uf 25v caps after the rectifier on the board? And how would I wire that? As in would they go in series or parallel across the two AC's.
Thanks for any advice, or am I just over killing here.
