I need to design a circuit osscillator that run on 8Mhz from the schematics provided by:
**broken link removed**

I think something is wrong in my simulation because the output is strange..

If you post the schematic & results as an image or pdf then many more people may be able to help you.

Keith.

Usually simulators don't work very well with oscillators because of the initial conditions of the circuit in spice, I'm not sure that the circuit will start oscillating

hy alexan_e, will not oscillate in reality or in simulation?

I'm sure it will work in reality, I meant in simulation

I have just noticed that your schematic is wrong, you have missed a connection from the common point of C1/C2 to the emitter.
Also remove the triangle terminal (not sure what it is) from the emitter and connect a gnd to the negative pole of the battery.

It will still not work but at least the schematic will be correct.
Note that the oscilloscope has two inputs (channels) referenced to the gnd, you don't need to connect one input to the signal and one to the gnd as you have done in the oscillator circuit
