On my board those inboxed componets were dead due to a short circuit and am struggling to know the real name of these components for replacements.
any help please!!?
The IC seems to be an LT1172 from Linear Technology and the diode is (I think) an SK35B from MCCSemi.
Given that the IC is a switching regulator and the diode is a high speed rectifier, having them connected together would seem a sensible pairing.
