help,urgent!!optical encoder

i have design the circuit for optical encoder by using PIC16F84A,LCD and IR sensor.wen it detect the rotary encoder finish rotate(stop) then it will display the distance on lcd. but i don't know how to write the assembly language for it.anyone can help me. it's urgent for me.thanks in advance
 

can you send me the code of the position encoder
actually i planing to make a rotary encoder
if i want to calculate the distance, which code i suppose to add on the micro controller?
