I want to connect GPRS and send a message to host via tcp/ip by AT Command only
I use Hyper Termial, i tried some commands but unsuccessful.
i can access internet with that sim card by GPRS, but i can't do with SIM300.
Could you please help me steps by steps what should i do?
i tried this:
atd*99***1#
NO CARRIER
AT+CGATT=1
Sometimes return OK, sometimes ERROR, sometime it halt(nothing and can't enter any command)

Please help me about this, Thanks alot.

sim300 at command tcp

All GSM/GPRS modems have several common AT commands, and i tested them on Siemens / Simcon modules successfuly.
i don't know what is your problem exactly?

AT+CGDCONT=1,IP,(APN)internet

then set connection configuration
Siemens: AT^SICS
AT^SISS
then attach GPRS
AT+CGATT=1
then open connection
AT^SISO=1

sim300

Thanks for your reply
I used SIM300 so there are some difference AT commands.

sim300 at command set

simcon gprs connection:

sim300 tcp ip

The SIM300/340 supports GPRS and has a TCP/IP stack, and therefore you can send data with it. For infomration on establishing a GPRS connection and connecting to a computer see the FAQ on this site: **broken link removed**
