Help : Robotic Project

Hi All,

i would like to find some information on robotic design. The robot is a vacuum cleaner and travel to anywhere in home. Once the battey voltage is low, it can automatically back to the charging place to recharge the battery.

Can anyone kindly advise the principle of the project? Any reference articles or websites available?
