Hi,
i need to handle the new cnc machine. I'm having problem with the software part..It happen that my drill are not located to the right place. I don't what was the problem..hope someone will help me.Here i attached a picture of the layout

Thank you

Looks like the whole drill file needs rotating 90 degrees?

No 2nd thoughts, perhaps instead it has not been read in the correct format as it will never fit those pads.

as said in previous post , drill file needs 90 deg rotation.

check whether any option in coppercam to do that or
preview and see in your gerber file viewer.

It does look like it needs rotating 0 degrees, but even then there are several pads without holes on and several holes without pads.

Which makes it look more like it has been read in using the wrong format.

Thanks for the reply,

i've already rotated the layout..as mention. there are still holes without pads..you guys said that the file were wrongly read. How i'm supposed to do it correctly?

If you can upload the drill file here we may be able to open it with a Gerber Viewer and tell you what settings to use.

CAM350 tells me when I import files what it is set to.

I do not have coppercam to be able to tell you any more.

here is the drill file:

No rotation required at all.

Try the following Excellon format settings:
Digits: Integer 2, Decimal 4.
Absolute, Leading Zero, English units (Inch).

Hi cyberrat,
Thank you for your reply, but i'm having problem to find where this Import Drill Data come from. Currently i'm using eagle cadsoft software for cam job. Then i use viewplot to view the whole drill file.. There is no problem until then. But as soon as i import these file into coppercam, the layout become as i mention earlier from my first thread. I'm really2 very new with these softwares, so i hope you will explain a little bit more details.. Thanks once again..
