Help required communication problem(Network)

We are trying to communicate two different units in a single PC through switch(Cisco). CAT 5 ethernet cable is being used for connection. the ports which are connected to two units are UPand also the port through which switch is connected is UP.

But in PC , we wre geting only one unit UP at at a time . for Other one no Pinging.
what is solution for it. ?

Can anyone help us.
