Dear All,
I want to use a customised segment LCD as per the product requirement.
So i have designed a lcd view which will be having 42 segments & am going to give it to fabrication.
I WANT TO CONFIRM FROM ALL THE EXPERTS OF THIS FORUM THAT CAN I HAVE A LCD LIKE THIS??
1) I HAVE GIVEN 14 PINS WHICH IS DIVIDED INTO 8(segments) X 6(backplanes) . (IS THIS POSSIBLE??????????????..)
2) THINKING TO DRIVE THE SEGMENTS THROUGH SHIFT REG. & BACKPLANES THROUGH CONTROLLER(89LPC936).
WILL THIS WORK?????????
BECAUSE ONCE IT IS MANUFACTURED, I WILL NOT BE ABLE TO DO ANY CHANGES IN IT.
pLZ HELP ME ASAP.
