[help]Problem of cadence ic5141 on fedora4

cadence icfb cant open ciw

I install cadence ic5141 on fedora4 with no errors using a old version tar tool .But following error message show in the terminal when I start "icfb".

Loading "/tools/cadence5141/tools.lnx86/lib/libgdmtdm_sh.so" has failed.
Error (dlopen): "/tools/cadence5141/tools/lib/libvirtuos_sh.so: cannot restore segment prot after reloc: Permission denied
Error (gdmiLoadDMLibrary): Could not load library './libgdmtdm_sh.so' for DM system 'tdm'
Error (gdmImportDMSystem): DM system 'tdm' as specified in file '' is
not available due to errors.

I can not open LibManager in CIW. I am not sure whether ic5141 can run fedora4.
Can someone help me to solve this problem? Thanks.

I don't know the cause of this error but i run cadence IC5141 on FC4 and i don't get this error

cadence tdm

For FC4, you have to disable the SElinux file in order to get rid of all these errors.

The file is located in:
/etc/sysconfig/selinux

make sure you set the option to disable and then reboot your computer.

Let me know how it works out.

In gnome,
you may try to the following steps to disable SeLinux.

Desktop -> System Settings -> Security Level -> SELinux

You can disable the SELinux in this window.
I hope it can help you.

Ic5141 can work very well after I disable the SELinux in
fedora4 just following that Analogworld and llh219 have

libmanager not opening cadence

you can use tar-1.13.25-11.i386.rpm in fedora4
in order to install ic5141. It can be fount on redhat9.0
install CD.
