help plzz am running out of time

hi every 1 ,,how r u??
i'm actually new to this forum,i liked it very much.
my name is battousai,n am studyin computer engineering,
i'm abt to graduate the next 3 months and i'm very busy with my graduation research,
am having a real huge problems and i really need ur help,
my first problem is am new to matlab,
am using matlaab simulink n am trying to input a sine wave n see its frequency spectrum by using the (spectrum scope)
bt am nt doin well n it keeps tellin me **error**
i wish tht anybody helps me coz am runnung out of time.thank u all

and you can find attached the files needed for the tutorial
just unzip and put them in the working directory


by the way: spectrum scope doesn't draw the frequency analysis of the signal
it calculate and estimation of the spectrum using the periodogram estimator then draws the results , and it's usually done for random signals not deterministic

anyway follow the tutorial in the file and i hope it will be ok

now i think got to knw how to draw the frequency analysis by using spectrum analyzer,
As you knw am running out of time ,only few days left for my project to b delievrd n disscused*,
anyway i'm trying to input an NRZ signal(by using bernoulli block+unipolar to bipolar converter) to a phase locked loop .
nrz>>>raised cosine filter>>>square(nonlinear)>>>pll
i've built the pll n the nrz bt still un able to connect the rest of the circuit .
my project is called ((bit synchronizer))
plz help me if u can

am trying to build a bit synchronizer using matlab simulink
my prof. plan is to connect
nrzlevel signal(nrzl) >>>raised cosine filter>>>squar the signal in somehow>>>pll(phase locked loop)
i've desinged the pll .bt it's really hard to connect the rest
by the way the frequency of the nrz should be equal to (10khz)

Hi Ahmed,
Am sorry i didn't know what's your question specifically
indeed i think you are having some problems in types conversions
If that was the problem try using "To Frame" block from signal processing blockset
to convert from sample based signals to frame based or to do the inverse

if you have any question please don't hesitate

hi mohannad,
ok let get to it step by step.
1st i'm tryin to generat an nrz signal using bernoulli generator and tht was successfully done,
the next step is to get its spectrum shown using some sort of spectrum scope or somthing like tht,
i connected the nrz to a spectrum scope bt all i've got is nothing
all i want nw is to generat a non return to zero level signal and see it's frequency spectrum. i wish u can help me
