Hi Friends,

I am newbie for Opamp Design.

Could you please help me with the Opamp Different stages advantages/Disadvantages
Single stage, double stage and Triple stage.

Which would be good? Why?

Regards,
DC

I want to measure differential signal.

Normally a long-tail pair is the first stage in an op amp. It is able to perform the function of a differential detector, with a similar principle to this Wheatstone bridge.

Notice both sources are positive polarity. However the differential reading is not necessarily always positive.

The long-tail pair may be all the stages you need to measure your differential signal. Additional stages contain current mirrors, and a half-bridge which must be biased so it sinks or sources the proper current through a load, in order to deliver the correct voltage.

Have you tried to read Baker or Razavi? Many things are explained there.

There is a classic set of books that give a lot of info on
OpAmps, great bedtime reading, authors Toby, Graeme,
Huelsman. ebay is a source or the other used book sellers.

There are 5 titles total,m here are three of them -

The first and third titles most important.

Regards, Dana.
