Hi to group

I have a serious problem with an 24C64 W6 from ST. After a few months of field operation in a device i can't erase some memory cells . I read several cells of the eeprom every 4 seconds. The device is powered continuously. Is it possible that this creates problem to the chip?.I write the address counter and then issue a read command. As i understand only a write operation should create a problem . Does anybody have experience to assist me ?.

Regards

Michael
