help on cadence composer.

I tried to run the cadence composer on my laptop. But I failed to open it by the command icfb&.
it says: *WARNING* Atr: Failed to find 8-plane PseudoColor visual
The program need to set the computer at 256bits resolution. But I find my laptop the lowest resolution is 800. what can i do?
