Hi...
Well, I would like to know, how to access other terminals available on the LAN. I'm new to Linux and do not know much about it. Please help me out in this regard. Thank you!

You can use VNC server and telnet as well.

rlogin/rexex/rsh

The remote terminal has to have support for remote login. There are interfaces like SSH, Telnet, RSH, RLogin, ... even remote desktop.

thx alot!!! I've managed to do it using ssh...

in fact,if you need GUI environment, vnc is another choice.

You should better modify your .vnc/xstartup file, use startkde &,not twm.
