I am an absolute beginer to this field. But I am interested in learning about microcontrollers and how to program them. I have installed MPLAB in my pc and also using PICKIT for programing.

1. I need to learn about PIC16F684
2. How to write programs using c

When you install, you get sample programs by the vendor itself. Which compiler you want to use?
