Hi,
Can anybody help me how to understand Device Drivers and Driver programming for Windows XP. I am a beginner for Driver Programming. So I want some tutorials on basics of device drivers. I've gone through the book "Progamming the Microsoft Windows Driver Model, Walter Oney". I couldn't understand some concepts. So i want some basic information.

Please help me in this regard

Thanks

Walter Oney's book is considered to be as good as any on Device driver programming. It is not a trivial task and quite hard to learn.
Get 'Microsoft Windows Driver Development Kit' CD.
This contains a c compiler and all the tools you need for driver development plus lots of sample drivers which you can adapt to suit.
Good luck.
