Help needed for installation Cadence IC5141 on Ubuntu8

Hi all,
I am a newbie. I want to setup IC5141 on my laptop. The OS is Ubuntu 8, and cadence is ic5141 with 3cds. Firstly I copyed files to my computer and unziped, istalled to path: /cadence, but I met a fatal error.

SL-10: Installation of dfIIdb50.41-p003lnx86 declined by control program (Pre_load)
dfIIdb50.41-p003lnc86 will not installedload_pkgs:696: ./install/pkgs/dffIIdb50.41-p003lnx86.exe: not found.

However I can find the right files in: /cadence/install/pkgs/dffIIdb50.41-p003lnx86.exe

How to resolve it. I need your help. Thanks.

hope it helps.
i would suggest RHEL or scientific Linux as OS.
