Hello Everyone;
Can anybody tell me that, if Output Power of a FM Transmitter is approximately 100Wat, so what its range in Kilometers.
And please also tell me about any High Power Transistor that work on 88 To 108 MHZ Frequencies, and Easley available.
Thanks

we can only use approximations about range of a transmitter to its output power of the transmitter.

this is due to obstacles along the line of transmission e.g

100w ~ 100Miles Line of tranmission (i.e open air)
100w < 100Miles with obstacles (i.e buildings etc.)

so to get the actual distance of coverage you need a field strenght meter as soon as you are through with construction
