Hi All,

I'd like to simulate a stacked microstrip antenna with two different metallic types in IE3D. My question is how to assign these two metallic types on different substrate. Any comment is welcome.

Thank you.

regards,

HI, mwband:

The metallic type is not associated with a substrate. Instead, you can assign a metallic type to each polygon. The default metallic type for a polygon is the No.1 type in the list. You can select those polygons you want to change the metallic type and select EDIT->OBJECT PROPERTIES and select GROUP CHANGE METALLIC TYPE to change it. You have the option to display the metallic type as a number on the polygon or as some predefined brush pattern on the 2D Editor. Regards.
