Help me with USB to RS232 converter project

Hi!

I want to crear a Project: USB to RS232 Converter... Could anyone help me?!!

first u need to study the usb in a nutshell document to know the protocal there are certain micro controllers with both USB and RS232 module u can use that controllers for this project i think u need to buffer the data from usb to send it to rs232

the best and fast solution is FT232R and FT245R from FTDI chip.

they have driver for all windows and other OS.(no usb knowlege is needed)

very easy and fast time to market.

An option is the CP2101 chip of SILABS ( Silicon Laboratories )
