I have a similar problem...

The installer just stops claiming that can not find the files needed to install.

Somebody has some light to us?

Yes, all the files exist, and have correct permissions.
I think the install scripts must be rewrited, or some utilitary (maybe "tar"),
aren't in the correct version.
I use Kubuntu dapper.
Does anybody already installed Cadence on Ubuntu ? ? ?

Hi guys I installed both IC5033 and IC5141 in Ubuntu with success.
U need to rerurn softload from the directory where u started to install to.
You will have do rerun it a couple of times during installation(1 at the begining and 1 afther u load products from cadence catalog).
If u will keep having problems tell me I'll write more detailed instruction.
