hello every one.....
i am new to dis controllers so plz help me........

actually my application is dimming ballast n iam using here msp430.but in my application i want generate 0-10V to dimm the ballast which means if it is 0V...0% dimm...n if it is 5V...50%..like dat up to 10V....ok so plz tell me any idea about dis........ my thought is by using PWM n ADC i can generate dis 10V r OPTPISOLATER TRAIC DRIVER is better.........plz i dnt knw how to do dis project plz help me.....................

Re: DIMMING BALLAST

Hi

Depand on type of MSP430 used you can use PWM output filter it and amplify it using an opamp

Whether you have D/A on the micro(MSP430F16xx) just set the A/D and add and amplifier to bring the voltage output to the right level

All the best
