i want to try making a device that beeps faster as distance to another device decreases. for example this device is attached to me and another to my bag. when i move away from my bag it should start beeping and gets faster as i come nearer. can someone guide through this?

Re: help about a project

First of all what sensor are you going to use?

Use the measured distance as the time interval between two beeps. As the object gets near to you the distance will be small and you will get small delays between the beeps and as the object moves away from you the distance will be high and the delay between the beeps will be large
