Hi folks,

I'm trying to understand the idea of CANopen.

There are PDO messages to transport real time data. They are divided into transmit PDOs (TxPDO) and receive PDOs (RxPDO). Both groups have their own range of identifier. In CAN there is no master or slave. All devices are on the same level.

Q: When I send a TxPDO at 0x181, it will be received from the other CAN nodes. For the receiver it is a RxPDO but the identifier is still 0x181. That's confusing. What is my misunderstanding?

Thanks
Stefan
