Hi friends...
well i'm a fresh engnr. n currenlty workin 4 a private firm. well i'm asked to setup a LAN in the office (although settin up LANs is not my job). i dont know what should i do... could u guys please help me out in this regard??? anticipatin an assertive response... THX!!!

You should find out how many workstations and servers will be in the LAN. How much is the budget for this project? How is the physical location of the LAN, is it the whole LAN in an office or in different office or floor.

The basic architecture of LAN is all the workstations and servers connected using switches and routers. The router is connected to the internet, via a proxy or directly.
