Help me set the gain control in LTC6912-1

i am trying to set the gain control in LTC6912-1 dual amplifier available on spartan 3e kit using spi but i cann't .the echo which get through the amp dout reveals that iam not setting the correct gain can anyone please help me.

are you sure your SPI design works? Did yo scope pins??

thanks for replying. i am actully checking it by connecting amp dout to 8 leds in the kit and checking the 8 bit gain settings. However it is showing some thing else other than i set.but yesterday when i add reset to my design i found the design totaly collapsed i didn't even get the junk o/p which i got before.can u please explain me .thanks in advance

Im having the same issue, no matter witch gain is sent to the amp, it doesnt echoes the value that i previously sent...
I alredy checked SPI functionality, connecting in the UCF file, the MISO with the MOSI, and the data is sent and recibed correctly

Please let me know if you solve this problem, i'll do the same
