ac zero-crossing detector

Hi all, i'd like to control some heating resistor (2*5kW per phase), so, up to 6 elements, and control their power.
I was thinking about using per phase:
-zero crossing detector to trigger the PWM output of a µ.
-use the PWM output to drive a TRIAC.

Any reference of zzero crossing detector to use?

I also wonder the kind of filter I would need to avoid noise injection onto the main. Any recommendations

Thanks

Re: AC load switching

Usually heater resistence have a lot of inertia, it's common to drive them in "burst" mode. Whith a zero-cossing triac you let the current flow for n-periods of line voltage (a burst of sinusoidal wave). No needs to syncronize your micro with zero crossing.
