Hi.
I am trying to design a pfm dc-dc converter.
but I have some problem.
first of all, I determined to use a constant on time architecture.
I simply designed it. but it has a large inductor current ripple.(10uH inductor, 10uF cap)
I wonder whether there is a way to reduce the inductor current ripple.
and I need a zero inductor current detection circuit so that the circuit do not
operate in discontinuous conduction mode.
If there is one who can let me know how to design it, please reply my topic.
or if there is a helpful document, please let me know how to get it.
thanks in advance.

PFM dc-dc converter

i think you can reduce the constant on time

Re: PFM dc-dc converter

Increasing the inductor will decrease the ripple current.
for continuous mode, the ripple only depend on the inductor and the on time.
