Hello every one,

I am simulating an adder schematic in Cadence Virtuoso.

I getting very good response for delay. but when I calculate the power im getting it as negative

I calculated power by measuring current at Vdd , and multiplied it to Vdd suply voltage. the current is read as -ive.

What I hav to do? I have to take the mod of the current/power.

Give me some suggestion

Thanking you,

RamesH

Yes. U have to take Modulus (absolute value) of current.

Else u will get Nobel Prize for Inventing a Power Generating Circuit,
and all Intel/IBM/ etc ... who are worrying about Power consumption
Issues in ICs while try to contact u to Patent your Design!!.
(just Kidding!)
