Xelos, this is my scenario, my compactflash is interfaced to a dsp and cpld. Its a 4GB device, but in the memory mapping for compactflash its only 256Mbytes are mapped to it. is it possible to map it thru a CPLD? Is it also true that we have map the CF registers to that adress for configuration of CF?

And abt addressing, how do we decode the address, if i want to write to a particular address how do i find out to which sector it belongs?

Please help me as this is very urgent, also if u have any C codes pls share it with me.

Thanx
