Re: Amplifier 120W RMS

You need a power supply? Then you must tell us what is the voltage.

Re: Amplifier 120W RMS

I guess that he needs Vs=24V according to the schematic... I dont have any power supply schematic at the moment that is suitable for this... By tomorow I can find it, I think...

Re: Amplifier 120W RMS

The power supply for a power amplifier does not have to be to sophisticated . The correct secondry voltage and current from the transformer a resonably sized bridge rectifier ( possibly 2) and plenty of smoothing say 10,000uf for each 100watts of power

Re: Amplifier 120W RMS

what is the type (class A, class AB etc) of your amplifier ? depending on the same, the efficiency will vary and you will need a diffeernt design.

Re: Amplifier 120W RMS

hi joseafonso88,

if the rms power of the design is 120W, driving an 8Ohm speaker then you

need about 40-45 V of supply. you can look for a simple power supply in

electronics-lab.com.

good luck,
