Hello friend,

I want to implement a rectifier & controlcircuit with input variable voltage from90-270V current 3A & output should be 400VDC & output power to be 250W
basically i need a line regulation as output must be constant at 400V & 250W
Please suggest some design method/s

Thanks in advance.

Re: smps

What you are trying to do sounds like a PFC requirement. There are chips out there that do that. Take for example the UC3854 from Texas Instruments, although there are many others.

Start by reading this appnote. https://focus.ti.com/lit/an/slua144/slua144.pdf
