Help me for mount on XP

Hi,

Pls help me for this newbie question.
I used XP (NTFS) and Linux RH8.0 in 1 harddrive.
When I used Linux, I can not mount to the partition that have XP(NTFS).
The message is : mount: fs type ntfs not supported by kernel
Anyone can help plz

Thanks + Regards,

Tr2000

SUSE linux version includes a program to mount the NTFS file, the Red Hat does not include this type application. Even if you could mount the NTFS driver, you had better not to write any file on the driver. It is not stable to mount NTFS driver due to the limit knowledge of NTFS. Searth google to find more information.

NTFS mount

You must recompile the kernel and include the NTFS driver.Moount it in read-only ,writing usually destroys data on your NTSF partition.
See ya

The default kernel by RH is not including NTFS file type.
You must recompile the kernel.
So far the NTFS file type is only for read-only, not writing.
