robotic arm

I'm working on a robotic arm whit a PIC16F877. It'll have a camera so it can view an image recognize white cards from black ones and clasified them. I'll realy appreciate any help about type of camera, where to find it (cheap pliz), the best servos, etc

Re: robotic arm

I know from previous experience that it is easier to turn / move the bulk of the arm with motors from cordless drills. They are much cheaper than a servo with similar specs and the control circuitry required is really easy to build. A further advantage is that you allready have a power supply and chargers that way around.
