hi,
I want to design an electronic counter that can measure the power of taken by a load like a house.Please could some one help me ?:cry:

Re: counter

Counter --> POWER METER ???

Accurate power meters are not easy to build; have a look at this project: https://www.analog.com/UploadedFiles/Application_Notes/528608457AN641_0.pdf

However, if you would like to roughly estimate power drawn by your houshold you can construct this simple circuit: **broken link removed** , and replace 100µA meter with an equivalent load and then ADC-->microcontroller-->digital display ..

Unless you are suitably qualified you should seek professional advise before messing with mains wiring.

Start by reading the old threads in this forum. there have been a load of threads about measuring the power equipment is drawing from the mains such as **broken link removed**. Use the search.
