Help me design a 4 Mhz crystal oscillator

hi all ..
i want to desing the crystal oscilltor of frequency 4 mhz
for which i am using a crystal and a nand gate which is acting an analog amplifier. Plz tell me the step by step procedure of desinging this oscillator ( means the desing of nand gate which is acting as an analog amplifier) . if any link , paper availabe pllz help ..
