Does anyone have a chart for choosing (selecting) EPROM that suite Xilinx Spartan series FPGAs.

atmel has such chips named FPGA Configuration Memory

You can also use general parallel EPROM,it is very cheap

there is also a nice app note in the xilinx site on how to use a serial flash for configuration
