Now I study about the Fir filter using kaiser window. so I made many band pass filters using kaiser window. but when I make a bandpassfilter using kaiser winodw for DTMF decoder. I have a question. if dtmf sampling frequency is 8khz and I want to select the 770hz dtmf. what do i select the passband frequency in the kaiser window?
for example) I make this kind of band pass filter using kaiser window
lower stopband edge: 0:25p
lower passband edge: 0:35p
upper passband edge: 0:65p
upper stopband edge: 0:75p
passband tolerance: 0:05
stopband tolerance: 0:01
If I want to make a pass band filter to select the 777hz, How do I set the frequency in kiaser window?
I don't know the relaxtion between kaiser frequency and signal frequency?
