help in fpga based image processing project

hiii everyone...
I am a 3rd year student in ECE branch and i have decided to do a BE project on VLSI i.e Fpga based implemetation on Image processing...plzz could any one guide me by listing some projects which could be implemented on xilinx spartan 3 board...

can any digital image processing. algo. or hardware prototype of the same could be build up on zilinx.spartan 3 board or it is application dependent....plzz do reply i m a begineer in dis feild

Hi

Yes you can implement any algorithm on the FPGA. Basically implementation includes writing the algorithm in hdl language or in MATLAB Simulink and these can be converted to RTL and dumped into the concern FPGA make sure the algorithm wont kill many gate counts

thanks for d reply......i juss want to know.that whether any digital image processing algo. can be imlenented on xilinx spartan 3 fpga board or it really depends on versions of fpga board....how could we realize dat....?

As I said it depends on the number of gate counts that your algorithm is goin to need depending on that you can decide your fpgas'

Can Invisible Image or video Digital Watermarking be implemented on Xilinx Spartan 3 Fpga board ??

Yes you can. You can also interface your digicam and get the data and can be stimulated and can be connected to the VGA to display
