Help in Fingerprint recognization

i am new in DIP. I worked with Matlab..& my project is fingerprint recognization in Matlab...i am not get it what i do?....will you please help in coding....

Beforehand, you must know how to do the recognition, then only you can code the program.

There are a lot of steps for fingerprint recognition, you need to capture fingerprint image, input the image, do image enhancement, feature extraction, then only recognition.
