The greyish silver cylinder with * 100 on it.. I cannot find any info on it... Any ideas?

could be caps, could be inductors.

a better picture - maybe from the side as well - might help further.

nothing on sides, sits on black plastic seats. Two pins

sometimes just the shape from the side can give a clue. Hence my request for a profile pic.

In the absence I can only guess its a cap (because of the plastic seat) - either an SMT electrolytic aluminium, or maybe even a supercap.

NAh, inductors. even that the picture is quite grainy, it is, almost, deductible that the silkscreen legend besides the lower right one starts with L

Good catch !! good eyes !! It's definitely L in at least 2 places
the markings on top ( * 100) were troubling me too.

Good eyes?
I have two pair of glasses. One for reading, second for outdoors.

BUT, that's how inductors on ferrite do look.

i was referring to your being able to read the silkscreen...
