Hello,

I am an UG student and going to do a project about EBG structure antenna. The first step is to simulate "unit cell". Is it prossible to be done by HFSS? If so, how may I get start?

For example, how can I model far field plane wave? The computer always ask for a file of source of wave. Also, how the port should be arrange?

There were so many nice experts shared their experience on how to use HFSS to simulate s-parameter of antennas, and how to use CST to simulate a patch reflector, but nobody talk about the simulation using HFSS. Could anyone help me?

Regards,

Sin

it is a way just like simulating FSS ,u can find FSS simulate method on internet.
