essentially i need to import pdks for an 0603 capacitor and inductor but cant find a source to download pdks file types compatible with awr

i am trying to design a rf amplifier around 900mhz and don't know how to design pdks in awr. i know it can be done in the software but its proving to be quite difficult for me. i assume its easier to find a way to import them

i tried using allegro to create a cadence unified libary pdk but i am also struggling with that mainly due to it being cloud based allegro

can anyone point me in the right direction for this?

I think you just need footprints and models.

A "PDK" is usually for IC technology where
your "parts kit" is all from one foundry process
flow.

Does AWR not accept SPICE format models
for these primitive elements? That would be
extra needy.

unfortunately awr doesn't accept a lot of spice formats but i was able to find files within the software after updating it. the education package i had was missing components and after an update it installed libraries for them

Almost every LC manufacturer has released a Design Kit for AWR.
For instance ;
the components (johnson) i was trying to use were contained in library files that are normally installed on awr i have now found out. i had checked for these last week but the libraries were empty. after updating this week they appear to be there. they could have been corrupted or the education package i was previously on had a lot of features restricted. so it could have been that. thanks anyway as this helped me find them
