Hello,

I am working on developing ATE test plans for an stand-alone AD converter chip. Please can anybody recommend me some good papers, books, app notes, or training classes about the ATE tests for ADCs?

Thanks,

Look at the data sheet, it will usually have some kind of test setup. Use that as a starting point.

I create ATEs for a living. So the best thing is to talk to your customer. What do they want tested. What results do they expect.

For an ADC you usually test for speed, accuracy and power consumption.
Put in a known voltage/current and see what the output is.
Put in a sine wave and plot the output, compare back to original signal.
Put in a fast ramp, and watch current draw, then change to sine wave and the steady square wave.

Hope this helps.
