Hi everyone,

I would appreciate any design suggestions or links for an Active power factor correction for a very high power load (50-100kW). Any textbook or articles/journals link would be appreciated as I have an IEEE subscription. Many articles online don't seem to have a comprehensive explanation about the designs just a screen shot of their simulations results.

Again, I would appreciate any help.

What voltage levels are you looking at on the input/output? You'll likely be looking at three phase IGBT modules like those used in large VFDs. Are you concerned more with control or component selection?

Really a 3 level (or 5 level) inverter (bi-directional as they all are) connected to the 3 phase mains for power factor correction is the best way to go, I assume by power factor correction you are including harmonic correction?
