Dear all friends

Please anybody suggest me in which software the designing of FPGA's can be done. I can design USART on FPGA, Multiplexed display controller on FPGA, CRT controller on FPGA. Please help me to suggest proper software to do all the lab work

Well, I know of 2 reasonably good free ones: One as mentioned above is Altera Quartus :http://www.altera.com/download/software/quartus-ii-we
the other one is Actel: Downloads: Libero IDE

both are pretty good and I don't see any drawback for either one in comparison to each other.

Xilinx ISE webpack though free is little slower in comparison to the above two which don't downgrade too much.
