help !! 4..20mA to 1...2mA

Hi everybody

i neet to convert a 4....20mA Sensorsignal
to a 1....2mA Signal

is there a simple way to solve this problem

Hi shorty,

You can use a simple modified current mirror, with two ordinary transistors. See the attached PDF file. (Sorry, I couldn't convert it to a directly viewable format).

Your current limits are both shown;
Vcc is 5V;
The current source is your sensor;
The 1k resistor can accomodate any value to interface to your sensor;
The circuit is relatively temperature independent;
