Hello,

Matlab only simulates these antennae made out of metal strips like in the image:

I would like to know what the effects of replacing strip with wire might be. Strip width = wire diameter.

Question 2: the simulation gives a very narrow BW of ~ 1.2 MHz, Re(Z) = 3.74 ohm at 315 MHz. I am thinking about adding some resistance in series with each of the arm so as to increase BW. Is there a rule of thumb for this operation, how high do I go ? simulated efficiency is at ~0.6; what else should I be looking at ?
