Hello,

I have to create interface device between PC and R3910.
I will use PIC18F4550 to read/write the R3910, based on hyper terminal commands of the PC.

Looking the datasheet:
https://www.onsemi.com/pub_link/Collateral/R3910-D.PDF
I can't see the commands corresponding to read register, write register, addressing or whatever.
basically I know the timing for the communication but I don't know what are the commands to be sent.
It is programmable device, but I don't know the opcodes or addresses to create the program so I can control the device features.

I hope you will help me to find some R3910 programmer's guidelines.
Thank you in advance!

Hi,

there may be programming software and hardware available from onsemi.

Look at onsemi.com

Thank you for reply.
The only think I found in regards to programming R3910 was this: https://www.onsemi.com/pub/Collateral/AND9106-D.PDF
Although, it is quite insufficient in terms of developing interfacing code.
What I need is some document describing what set of commands is required to read/write the internal registers of the DSP.
What I am trying to do is to communicate with this DSP trough simple PIC18F4550.
Anyway, I am grateful for your support.

Hi,

goto
https://www.onsemi.com/PowerSolutions/product.do?id=RHYTHM R3910

select the "overview" tab.

look for "ARKsoft", "application notes" and "design support".

Maybe it is not possible with PIC, because ONSEMI has it´s own software and hardware and don´t want to make the whole algorithms and programming protocols public.
